PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical transmission/reception technology which makes it possible to achieve both high security and low latency.SOLUTION: An optical transmitter comprises: a demultiplexing unit which breaks up the data frame of a transmission signal to predetermined length and unfolds them into a plurality of signal lanes; an index generator which generates an index indicating the order in which the plurality of signal lanes are arranged; a lane rearrangement unit which rearranges the order in which the plurality of signal lanes are arranged according to the index; a carrier frequency control unit which designates the index as a frequency offset for the carrier; a mapping unit which maps the rearranged transmission signals to phases corresponding to the frequency offset; and a transmission unit which transmits the mapped transmission signal after modulating it by light. |
