PURPOSE: A learning management system and a method thereof are provided to recommend learning contents which are appropriate to a user's level by analyzing learning result data, thereby providing learning contents which are adequate for a user's ability to learn. CONSTITUTION: A learning management server stores learning contents, which a learning content producer registers, in a learning content database (S10). A terminal requests the learning management server to transmit selected learning contents (S12) and downloads the selected learning contents (S14). The terminal activates the learning contents according to a user's request and provides a learning service for the user (S16). If a learning service begins, the terminal collects learning data in real time based on user input (S18) and transmits the learning data to the learning management server in real time (S20). The learning management server stores the received learning data in a learning result database (S22). The learning management server extracts learning contents which are appropriate to a user's level from the learning content database based on an analyzed ability to learn (S30) and transmits the learning contents to the terminal (S32).
