PURPOSE: A data service apparatus in a wireless communication system supporting multi RATs and a method thereof are provided to minimize data loss. CONSTITUTION: A multi radio access technology (RAT) convergence sub layer unit (311) assigns a first IP (Internet Protocol) address which is used in a first wireless communication system supporting a first RAT to a combined terminal. The multi RAT convergence sub layer unit provides a data service to the combined terminal through the first wireless communication system and a second wireless communication system supporting a second RAT which is different from the first RAT by using the first IP address.
