摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing and separating alkali metals (especially potassium) from a titanium oxide nanowire from which removal of alkali metals (especially potassium) is difficult.SOLUTION: A titanium oxide nanowire having a minor axis dimension of &ge;1 nm and a major axis dimension of &ge;0.5 &mu;m is brought into contact with an acidic solution of pH<4, and heated at &ge;110°C under a pressure of &ge;1,300 hPa. After the treatment, the titanium oxide nanowire may be washed with an aqueous solvent and/or an organic solvent and the washed titanium oxide nanowire may be separated from the solution.
