PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt guide device for a continuously variable transmission, which can be arranged in an interior of a narrow case of a transmission with no problem and, while allowing movement of an endless belt such as a chain etc., accompanying a change in gear ratio, regulates movement to an outer circumference side of a guide rail.SOLUTION: A belt guide device for a continuously variable transmission is provided in a continuously variable transmission including a primary pulley 1, a secondary pulley 2, an endless belt 3 wound around the two pulleys 1, 2. The belt guide device includes: a guide rail 11A which is disposed between the two pulleys 1, 2 and guides a track of the belt 3 into a passage 12 defined by an outer guide face 122a and an inner guide face 121a; a supporting pole 20 disposed in an inner circumference of the belt to support the guide rail 11A swingably and movably in an outer circumferential direction of the belt 3 in response to a change of the track of the belt 3; a first magnetic force generation means 31 disposed on an outer guide face 122a side of the guide rail 11A; and a second magnetic force generation means 32 which is disposed opposite to the first magnetic force generation means 31 on an outer circumference side of the belt 3 and generates a repulsive force to the first magnetic force generation means 31. |
