PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide titanium copper excellent in strength and bendability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the titanium copper.SOLUTION: Titanium copper includes 2.0-4.0 mass% of Ti, and as third elements, 0-0.5 mass%, in total, of one or more selected from the group comprising Fe, Co, Mg, Si, Ni, Cr, Zr, Mo, V, Nb, Mn, B and P, with the balance comprising Cu and inevitable impurities, and is characterized in that in the crystal orientation analysis in the EBSD measurement, the area ratio of the Brass orientation {110}<112> is 5-20%, and the sum of the area ratio of the copper orientation {112}<111> and the area ratio of the S orientation {123}<634> is 10-25%. |
