PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic shock absorber which fixedly sandwiches a plurality of tubes (outer tube and inner tube) inserted into a damper tube as multiple cylinders between a rod guide and a support piece in a hydraulic shock absorber by imparting a compressive load to all tubes.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shock absorber 10 is provided with contact surfaces P formed in a limited way at a plurality of locations in a circumferential direction of an end surface of a tube 13B, and on each of the contact surfaces, an end surface of the inner tube 13B out of the tubes 13A, 13B of a cylinder 13 and a seat surface 201 of a rod guide 21 are axially brought into contact with each other in a state with the tubes 13A, 13B of the cylinder 13 being fixedly sandwiched. |
