STEEL PLATE FOR ROTOR CORES FOR IPM MOTORS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

This steel plate for rotor cores for IPM motors is characterized by having a magnetic flux density (B8000) value of 1.65T or higher when the strength of a magnetic field is 8,000 A/m, and a residual magnetic flux density (Br) at the same time of 0.5T or higher, and having a coercive force (Hc) of 100 A/m or higher when the strength of the magnetic field is magnetized to 8,000 A/m as necessary. By using this steel plate as the rotor core for an IPM motor, it is possible to increase the output torque in a high-speed rotation range, and to increase the maximum number of rotations.
