摘要 Provided is a method capable of a stable continuous operation over the long term while maintaining a high yield in the production of acrylic acid and/or acrolein by means of contact gas phase oxidation. The method is characterized by at least two types of catalyst containing as catalyst active components the oxides of molybdenum, bismuth, and iron and/or the complex oxide of at least two of said elements filling each reaction tube of a fixed-bed multitubular reactor in a manner so as to form at least two reaction bands in the tube axis direction, the at least two types of catalyst differing in the ratio (D1/D2) of the fraction (D1) with respect to the total micropore volume of the micropore volume of micropores having a micropore diameter in the range less than 0.03-0.3 mum to the fraction (D2) with respect to the total micropore volume of the micropore volume of micropores having a micropore diameter in the range of 0.3-3 mum.
