PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer capable of easily applying double-side printing to a sawn fabric product such as T-shirts or the like by a small-sized inexpensive mechanism. SOLUTION: A printing medium placing part 2 is put in the cylindrical part of a printing medium 1 and a protruded periphery is fixed by a rubber string so as to be housed in the printing medium placing part 2. The printing medium is fed by a feed belt so that the printing surface thereof arrives at a printing start position. When the printing medium arrives at a predetermined position, ink is discharged from a carriage unit 64 to print the printing medium. When surface printing is completed, a reversing motor 65 is operated to rotate a reversing connection shaft 4 by 180°and the printing medium is turned inside out to oppose the back of the printing medium to the carriage unit 64.
