PURPOSE:To obtain the full-wave rectified waveform output with desired gain from a single-ended input by connecting a pair of amplifiers connected to a constant-voltage power source to the collector and emitter of an emitter-grounded amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A collector resistor R1 and an emitter resistor R2 of equal value are connected to a transistor Q1, a bias 6 and a coupling capacitor C1 are connected to the base, thereby forming an emitter-grounded amplifier, a pair of amplifiers having transistors Q2, Q3 connected at the emitter to constant-voltage sources VR1, VR2 and at the collector to a common resistor R5 are connected to the collector land emitter of the emitter-grounded amplifier, and an output is obtained at a terminal 4. Accordingly, full-wave rectified waveform output can be obtained in the desired gain determined by the circuit constant from a single- ended input, and the impedance at the signal input terminal can be maintained at sufficiently high value. |
