PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of missing of information due to momentary interruption of a transmission line remarkably, by replacing the order of each code length sectioned at the transmission side into the different order from the coded order to transmit said code length, and reproducing the code after replacing the order into the order as coded at said transmission side, at the reception side again. CONSTITUTION:A flag representing the address of a code is inserted to a coded picture data for each prescribed code length in a coding section 1 at the transmission side, at a flag insertion section 2 then the result is converted into the picture data and it is stored sequentially until a prescribed amount of information is obtained in a memory 3. In this case, a data address counter 4 counts a coded picture data, sections the data for each prescribed code length and supplies a data address signal designating the address of the flag insertion section 2. The picture data stored in the memory 3 is read out in the order different from read at a readout address designation section 5 and transmitted. Further, at the reception side, a flag detection section 6 detects a flag of the picture data, the code is stored in the order coded at the transmission side in a memory 8 and decoded 9. |
