PURPOSE:To obtain 1:2 pole change armature coil of sole coil having small starting current by dividing the phase coil of the sole coil into plural segments, providing terminals at both ends of the segments and switching the connection at between the starting time and the operating time. CONSTITUTION:The phase coils are respectively divided into two segments, terminals are respectively provided at both ends of the coil segments, slots are divided via insulators into two stages, and the coils are superposed as 2-layer windings. At the starting time of high speed 4-pole side, terminals U21, W21, V21 are respectively connected to power sources, and terminals U11 and U22, W12 and W22, U12 and V22, V12 and V11 and W11 are respectively shortcircuited. At the operating time of high speed 4-pole side, U21 and U22, V21 and V22, W21 and W22 are connected together to power sources, and terminals U11 and V12 and V11 and W12 and W11 and U12 are shortcircuited. At the starting and operating times of low speed 8-pole, the shortcircuited terminals are suitably replaced. In this manner, the starting current can be remarkably reduced as compared with the Y-DELTA switching connection. |
