PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric apparatus and a biometric system each capable of easily determining whether or not a user is in a stagnant period.SOLUTION: A biometric apparatus includes: a measurement means which can measure biological data on at least either the body weight or the body fat percentage of a user; a calculation means which calculates the percentage of the average value of the biological data in a first period to the average value of the biological data in a second period, or the difference between the average value of the biological data in the first period and the average value of the biological data in the second period, based on the biological data in the first period and the biological data in the second period of the biological data measured by the measurement means; and a determination means which determines whether or not the user is in a stagnant period where the change in the biological data shows tendency to stagnancy, according to whether or not the percentage or the difference satisfies stagnation determining criteria corresponding to the age and/or the sex of the user. |
