PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable semiconductor light-emitting device which improves light-extraction efficiency, and which has high light output linearity with high luminous efficiency and has less deterioration.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting device comprises a semiconductor structure layer in which a first semiconductor layer, a luminous layer and a second semiconductor layer are sequentially stacked; a groove which pierces from the second semiconductor layer side through the second semiconductor layer and the luminous layer to reach the first semiconductor layer; a first ohmic electrode formed in contact with the first semiconductor layer in the groove; a connection electrode which pierces from a surface of the first semiconductor layer through the first semiconductor layer and electrically connected to a part of the first ohmic electrode; an insulation layer which covers an opposite surface of the second semiconductor layer to the surface of the first semiconductor layer and has an opening for partially exposing the opposite surface; a second ohmic electrode formed in contact with the second semiconductor layer at the opening; a metal layer which is formed on the insulation layer and connected to the second ohmic electrode; and a support medium bonded to the metal layer via a bonding layer. |
