The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electrode for an electric double layer capacitor which, even at high voltage, has high energy density and has little degradation of electrostatic capacitance and resistance over time, i.e., has excellent long-term reliability. An electrode for an electric double layer capacitor, the electrode being characterized by comprising: a polarizable electrode material that includes porous carbon particles, a conduction assistant, a tungsten oxide powder, and a binder; an electroconductive adhesive that includes an electroconductive material and a poly-n-vinyl acetamide (PNVA)-based binder; and a sheet-shaped collector. |
