PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion device which can make tone jump more difficult to occur in an image formed by image formation means.SOLUTION: A color conversion unit 53 comprises: an other color value determination unit 533 which, for use in an image formation unit to form an image, determines the values of other colors on the basis of a maximum other color value which is the maximum value of coloring materials in other colors usable for the input value of fundamental colors in an input image signal constituted of fundamental colors, a first other color limiting rate which is a rate set for the input value of fundamental colors, at which the use of other colors is limited in relation to the maximum other color value, and a second other color limiting rate which is a rate set for the total input value of fundamental colors, at which the use of other colors is limited in relation to the maximum other color value; and a fundamental color determination unit 534 which determines the value of fundamental colors on the basis of the determined values of other colors, characterized in that an input color signal constituted of fundamental colors is converted on the basis of the determined values of other colors and the value of fundamental colors into an output image signal constituted of fundamental colors and other colors. |
