Water Mixing and Flow Apparatus

Abstract A water mixing and flow apparatus 1 has a housing 10 and cartridges 12 for flow of water therethrough. The cartridges 12 extend into the housing 10. The cartridges 12 include respective water flow cartridges 12a, 12b, 12c and 12d. One of the water flow cartridges 12a and 12b is able to receive cold water into the apparatus 1, and one of the water flow cartridges 12c and 12d is able to receive hot water into the apparatus 1. The cartridges 12 also include a thermostatic mixing cartridge 12e and a tempered water outlet cartridge 12f. The thermostatic mixing cartridge 12e is provided to mix cold water and hot water to produce tempered water. The tempered water outlet cartridge 12f is in fluid communication with the thermostatic mixing cartridge 12e to deliver the tempered water from the apparatus 1.
