PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast transmitter capable of accurately determining an usable channel (segment) and transmitting area one-seg broadcast without causing broadcast contention.SOLUTION: In steps S1 and S2, it is determined whether or not an area and the time are ones capable of transmitting area one-seg broadcast. From a transmission candidate physical channel list, a channel of the lowest C/N value is determined in a step S6. When a position of a transmitter transmitting broadcast by the selected channel is not identified, or when transmission is not performed near the present transmitter even when the position of the transmitter transmitting the broadcast by the selected channel is identified, a channel selected in a step S12 is determined, and the area one-seg broadcast is transmitted in a step S14. |
