PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of dissolving the degeneracy of lanes of an extension slot without exchanging a suspicious component when the number of linked lanes is reduced due to the degeneracy, and a restoration circuit from the degeneracy of the information processor.SOLUTION: In a slot 5 (extension slot) having a connection terminal to which a part of lanes 3 is not wired, a SEL/DEC 4 (selector/decoder) is inserted to the lane between a chip set 2 (route complex) on a system board and the extension slot, and when the number of links of the links established by initialization of the links of PCI Express and the number of the lanes do not match, by switching the SEL/DEC 4, the lane of the PCI Express is connected to the terminal to which the lane is not wired in the extension slot. Thus, by returning connection to the side where the lane is originally wired and executing the initialization of the links again, restoration from the degeneracy is performed. |
