This liquid jetting apparatus is provided with: a main body unit (1) having inside thereof a gas flow channel (3) for supplying a pressurized gas, and a liquid flow channel (2) for supplying the liquid; and a nozzle unit (10) having a liquid jetting port (12) for jetting the liquid opened in a shape of a slit in the main body unit (1). The nozzle unit (10) is provided with nozzle sloping surfaces (16, 17) on the side surfaces with the liquid jetting port (12) at the center, gas jetting ports (14, 15) for jetting the pressurized gas are demarcated between the nozzle sloped surfaces (16, 17) and the main body unit (1), and the nozzle sloped surfaces (16, 17) are formed to intersect each other on the extended line of the liquid jetting port (12) in a cross-sectional view. The pressurized gas is diagonally jetted along the nozzle sloped surfaces (16, 17), and flows of the pressurized gas intersect each other so as to sandwich the liquid, thereby jetting the liquid by breaking the liquid into fine particles. With this configuration, the fine particles having a uniform particle diameter can be obtained, and abrasion of the nozzle unit is reduced. |
