PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of detecting a leading vehicle having a collision possibility by use of a stereo camera using a CMOS sensor with a rolling shutter.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle image processing camera has a plurality of image capturing units for capturing images in front of a vehicle and an image analysis unit for detecting another vehicle by using parallax information of the images obtained by the image capturing units. The image capturing units are each equipped with an image capturing element having exposing timings different for respective lines of an image capturing area and sequentially exposing from the lower to upper ends of the other vehicle.
