PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information providing system, a server device, a terminal device, a map information providing method, and a program which enable a user to narrow down a search range into a desired direction on a map without requiring a complicated operation.SOLUTION: A map information providing system determines a first search range on a map, detects a narrow-down direction on the basis of a predetermined reference point in the determined first search range, determines a second search range which is a part of the first search range on the basis of the detected narrow-down direction, and performs display output corresponding to the determined second search range on a display unit. |
