PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for producing spherized particles, in each of which carbon can be restrained from being stuck to/mixed in the spherized particles and the spherized particles having a stable shape can be produced even when a raw material powder having a high melting point is used.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing spherized particles has: a spherization furnace 18 extended in a vertical direction; a plurality of raw material dispersion holes which are provided on the upper end 18A of the spherization furnace 18 and used for dispersing the raw material powder into the spherization furnace 18; combustion chambers 21-25 which are provided to expose the outside surface of a sidewall of the spherization furnace 18 between the upper end 18A of the spherization furnace 18 and the bottom 18B of the spherization furnace 18 and arranged in the extended direction of the spherization furnace 18; burners 31-40, which are provided in the combustion chambers 21-25 to form flames in the combustion chambers 21-25; and a plurality of combustion gas introduction holes penetrating the sidewall of the spherization furnace 18, in which the combustion chambers 21-25 are exposed, and introducing the combustion gas in the combustion chambers 21-25 into the spherization furnace 18. |
