PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing a heat loss caused by heat exchange by controlling the heat exchange on primary and secondary sides accompanied by heat transmission between the primary and secondary sides during the rotation stop state of a heat exchange rotor or the like.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes a partition part 22 for demarcating a primary side flow passage 4 and a secondary side flow passage 6, a rotatable heat exchange rotor 10, a drive unit 30, and a control unit 40. The air conditioner has a rotatable heat exchange mode and a stop non-heat exchange mode. The partition part 22 is provided on a line passing through the center of the rotation of a rotating circle in a front view. The heat exchange rotor 10 has a separator 13 for thermally dividing a base material 14 in the circumferential direction. The control unit 40 performs optimum stop control for stopping rotation at an optimum stop position where the separator 13 is superposed on the partition part 22 in the front view at the stop non-heat exchange mode. Thus, any heat loss caused by the unintended heat exchange can be reduced during the rotation heat exchange mode or the like. |
