<p>An endoscopic device (1) is provided with: a light source device (4); a CCD (2); a video processor (7) that generates an image signal on the basis of the imaging signal from the CCD (2); an observation monitor (5); and a light adjustment circuit (43). On the basis of a first image signal (P1) of a first wavelength band which has a spectral characteristic peak wavelength between a wavelength band including the maximum value in the absorption characteristic of the body tissue of a subject and a wavelength band at the minimum value, and a second image signal (P2) of a second wavelength band which has a spectral characteristic peak having a lower value in the absorption characteristic than the first image signal (P1) and in which the scattering characteristic of the body tissue is suppressed, the light adjustment circuit (43) calculates and outputs a light adjustment signal to apply a larger weighting to the first image signal (P1) than to the second image signal (P2) and adjust the amount of light in the light source device (4).</p> |
