The device has partially closed volumes for accommodating an end of a flyer chain, which is fixed by exertion of force on partial sections of an outer circumferential surface of a strap (1) of a unilateral end link of the flyer chain. Walls are provided for clamping and detachably connected together. Distance between the walls is changed in a modulating manner. A contact surface is provided for the strap of the end link and extended transverse to a direction of traction force on the flyer chain to be fixed.
