APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ULTRA LOW POWER WIRELESS COMMUNICATION

PURPOSE: An ultra low power wireless communication method and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform an ultra low power wireless communication while minimizing the influence of an interference by preferentially using a band in which an allowable output power characteristic is below a fixed value among industrial scientific medical (ISM) bands. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit (210) senses status information of frequency channels which belong to an ISM band. A channel determining unit (220) distinguishes the ISM band based on an allowable output power. The channel determining unit prioritizes a band which is below a fixed allowable output power value. The channel determining unit determines a communication channel based on the status information of the frequency channels which are sensed in the sensing unit. A control unit (230) determines the communication channel which is determined in the channel determining unit as a communication channel with a sensor node. The control unit allocates the determined communication channel to the sensor node.
