The invention is based on the principle of electrical conductivity of aqueous solutions and enables the determination of the exact concentration of antifreeze contained in a refrigerating solution, including for solutions lower than 0°C. Said measurement device (1) comprises a temperature sensor (2); an electrical conductivity sensor (3); a microcontroller (4) suitable for determining the concentration of antifreeze from the values obtained by the temperature sensor (2) and the conductivity sensor (3); a user interface (5) preferably comprising a keyboard (6) and screen (7), by which means the measurement device (1) can be calibrated for different refrigerating solutions and different parameters of the solution can be determined; and a power supply source (8) that provides electrical energy to the above-mentioned components of the measurement device (1).
