PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective and quantitative fatigue evaluation system and method being simply implemented in daily life. SOLUTION: The fatigue evaluation system makes a subject to memorize the positions of figures or language sound using a program operating on a computing machine represented by a PC, presents stimulations for testing the memory after a prescribed time, and acquires a reaction time to the stimulations. While the subject remembers them, the fatigue evaluation system sets two conditions, a condition for performing an attention task (non-coincidence condition) causing cognitive conflict and a condition for performing an attention task (a coincidence condition) causing no cognitive conflict, calculates a fatigue index using the reaction time to both the memory tasks, and displays the fatigue index and/or an evaluation result derived from the fatigue index.
