PURPOSE: The image forming apparatus, address setting method and storage media for storing programs are provided to uniquely set up the MAC (Medium Access Control) address for tracing the IP addresses. CONSTITUTION: The image forming apparatus (100) comprises the setup unit and the notice unit. The setting unit enables to set up the MAC address and key data. The MAC address assigns the IP address among multiple MAC addresses. The multiple MAC addresses are assigned to the multiple network interfaces for connecting to multiple networks accordingly. The key data trace the corresponding IP address from the image forming apparatus.
