<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a terminal when a communication failure occurs, and also to rapidly perform connection to a relay device after restoration of the communication failure. <P>SOLUTION: The relay device receives a synchronizing signal which includes synchronous information to be used for synchronization with an electronic shelf label device from a server and transmits the signal to the electronic shelf label device. In the relay device, when the synchronizing signal is not received from the server, an alternative synchronizing signal including the synchronous information of the synchronizing signal is generated and transmitted to the electronic shelf label device in synchronous timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
