PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer of a combustor whih effectively reduces noise in a limited space, and is easily assembled. SOLUTION: In this silencer 6 of the combustor 1 reducing noise of an exhaust gas by allowing the exhaust gas generated in the combustor 1 to pass in an exhaust passage, the silencer 6 includes a casing 16 composed of a square outer frame 14 opened at its top face, and a cover body 15 covering the top face of the outer frame 14 and having an exhaust gas inlet 17 and an exhaust gas outlet 18, and an inner frame sound absorbing material 19 in contact with the inner wall of the outer frame 14, and having a roughly-rectangular parallelepiped space 25 inside. Further, in the roughly-rectangular parallelepiped space 25, an exhaust passage for communicating with the exhaust gas inlet 17 and the exhaust gas outlet 18 is formed by a plurality of sound absorbing materials 31, 32, 37, and a plurality of partition plates 26, 29, 30, 35, 36, 39 having a space in which the exhaust gas passes, and the meandering exhaust passage is formed by successively stacking the partitioning plates 26, 29, 30, 35, 36, 39 and the sound absorbing materials 31, 32, 37 like blocks.
