PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing arm device having a reduced weight. SOLUTION: The center axis of a driving shaft 30 is arranged on the lower side of a line A connecting a pivot shaft 17 to an axle shaft 18a of a driving wheel 18. A swing arm 20 includes a first arm 21 encircling the driving shaft 30, and a second arm 22 arranged on the opposite side in relation to the horizontal direction. The first arm 21 and the second arm 23 are connected to each other via a connection part 23 located between the pivot shaft 17 and the driving wheel 18. A cushion 40 is connected at its lower end via a link mechanism 50 to a link supporting part 24 which is protruded downward from the lower face of the connection part 23. Near the pivot shaft on the upper face of the swing arm 20, a cushion supporting part 25 is provided for supporting the cushion 40 at its upper end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
