PURPOSE: A touch sensing method and a touch sensing device are provided to use the coordinate, area, or angle of a touch input, thereby smoothly sensing the touch input inputted from a user regardless of the state of the touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A touch sensing unit (110) senses the touch input inputted from a user through a touch screen, and generates the touch data according to the changed amount of the capacitance generated on the touch screen by the touch input. A data extracting unit (120) computes a first data with respect to the touch input by using the touch data and a first threshold, and computes a second data with respect to the touch input by using the touch data and the second threshold. A touch controlling unit (130) controls the operation of terminal corresponding to the touch input by using the first data and the second data.
