BATTERY PACK CASE ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES USING PLASTIC COMPOSITE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A case assembly of a battery pack is provided to reduce the weight by using a light weight plastic composite material with light weight, thereby improving structure rigidity, collision performance, and dimensional stability. CONSTITUTION: A case assembly of a battery pack comprises a case main body (200) in which a battery pack (300) is mounted and a cover (100) which is assembled to the case main body. The case main body consists of a plastic composite material in which long fiber and/or continuous fiber are mixed to a plastic substrate. A separate reinforcing member (212) consisting of long fiber, continuous fiber, or the plastic material of the long fiber and continuous fiber is attached to a side bracket (211) for coupling the case main body and a vehicle body to each other.
