PURPOSE: A device for providing content linked with a call connection sound in an mVoIP(mobile Voice over Internet Protocol) service and a method thereof are provided to implement the use of a free call connection sound by displaying an advertisement of an advertiser related to a free call connection sound providing service during the playing of the call connection sound on a calling terminal. CONSTITUTION: A call request receiving unit(210) receives a call request from a calling terminal to a receiving terminal. A content selecting unit(220) selects one or more pieces of content set by the calling terminal in response to the call request. A service providing unit(240) provides a call connection sound and the content to the calling terminal until the receiving terminal responds to the call request.
