PURPOSE: A dock gate for enlarging the area of a dry dock is provided to safely enlarge the ship construction area of an existing dry dock by minimizing the influence of sea water pressure. CONSTITUTION: A dock gate (1) for enlarging the area of a dry dock is composed as follows. Both ends (11, 12) of the dock gate touch the lateral dock walls (21, 22) of a dry dock (2). The residual portion of the dock gate is protruding from the surface of the sea more than both ends of the dock gate to enlarge the area of the dry dock.
