PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board image display device with which users can view a display 20 easily.SOLUTION: An on-board image display device comprises: a CCD camera 10 attached so that an optical axis is in a depression angle; and an electronic control device 30 to control the CCD camera 10 so that the CCD camera 10 generates images. The electronic control device 30 conducts bird's-eye view conversion to convert a captured image by the CCD camera 10 into a bird's-eye image using an attached angle &thetas; of the CCD camera 10. The electronic control device 30 then conducts reverse bird's-eye view conversion to convert the bird's-eye image into an image assuming that the optical axis is directed to a horizontal direction, and the created image is displayed on a display 20. Therefore, in the display 20, a display object which is to be displayed vertically against a ground, that is a vertical edge, is displayed vertically against the ground, and a display object which is to be displayed parallel to the ground, that is a horizontal edge, is displayed parallel to the ground. |
