PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for organic EL expressing high efficiency, especially a material effective for an organic EL element using a phosphorescent material.SOLUTION: An arylamine compound represented by general formula (1) is used for some one or more layers selected from among a light emitting layer, a hole transporting layer and a hole injecting layer of an organic electroluminescent element.
