PURPOSE:To fix a core to a mold at excellent accuracy by fitting the core into a mold with clamping mechanism having the specific construction at the time of assembling the core into the mold and also correcting position of refer ence side holding arm composing the clamping mechanism. CONSTITUTION:After shifting the mold 2 conveyed with molding line A into a supplying station S2 in core shifting means 4 with shifting station S1, the core 1 is supplied into an assembling station S3 with core supplying means 5. Successively, the core 1 under condition of clamping with the core supplying means 5 is conveyed into core assembling means 6 and one end side of the core 1 is abutted on the reference side holding arms 35, 37 for positioning the core 1 to the position to be clamped and fitted to the mold 2 with the clamping mechanism 47 composing of movable side holding arms 36, 38 as shiftable to approaching or separating direction to the basis side holding arms. Further, by correcting the position of the reference side holding arms 35, 37 with 1/2 of difference between the measured value measured with a core measuring instrument and the reference value for the reference core by using correcting means 48, the core 1 is fitted to the normal position in the mold at the excellent dimensional accuracy. |
