PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device in which crosstalk is prevented.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device 1 includes: a transmission type display panel 5; a reflection unit 17 that includes an elliptic mirror 15 having a first focal point f1 on a reflection surface 19 side being a back surface side of the display panel 5; light source units 29 and 31 that are attached to the back surface side of the display panel and include a pair of first light sources 33 and 37 and second light sources 35 and 39 that projects light onto a reflection surface of the elliptic mirror; image output means 65 that alternately outputs a first image and a second image to the display panel; and light source control means 67 that lights the first light source at the time of output of the first image and lights the second light source at the time of output of the second image. Light absorption members are provided at positions which respective light exiting surfaces of the first and second light sources on the reflection surface of the elliptic mirror face. |
