PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic permeability variable element which enables realization of a magnetic force controller that consumes lower power and generates lower heat.SOLUTION: A magnetic permeability variable element includes a magnetic nanocomposite film 2 in which numerous magnetic nanoparticles are dispersed in a matrix, an insulator film 3 formed on one of a top face and a bottom face of the magnetic nanocomposite film 2, and an electrode film 4 formed on the insulator film 3 so that the insulator film 3 is interposed between the magnetic nanocomposite film 2 and the electrode film 4. The magnetic permeability variable element varies the magnetic characteristics of the magnetic nanocomposite film 2 in response to an application of a voltage to the electrode film 4. |
