PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer ink ribbon capable of forming an image in which a sense of incompatibility due to transition of a releasing material is suppressed.SOLUTION: A plurality of sublimation type or fusion type thermal transfer ink layers provided to a belt-like base sheet each have effective regions used for thermal transfer recording and non-effective regions provided at circumferences of the effective region. Non-effective regions provided along gaps between mutually adjacent ink layers in a length direction of the belt-like base sheet among the non-effective regions are tapered toward the gaps. |
