PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that does not provide a wrong positioning result to a user.SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 1, when a position information acquisition part 111 acquires position information calculated from, for example, a GPS signal, an action range setting part 113 sets an action range having a size corresponding to a distance between a current position and a destination. When the position information acquisition part 111 acquires position information showing the current position after the setting of the action range, a determination part 114 determines whether the position information is within the action range. Then, a display control part 115 performs display control of a display part 16 so as to display the position information on a map when it is within the action range as a result of the determination, and so as not to display the position information on a map when it is not within the action range. |
