PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of performing continuous printing without allowing a gap between sheets and using the last sheets in the supply tray.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes tray operation control means that determines, as a changeover destination tray, a second tray that is selectable as the changeover destination if the entirety or part of the attribute of plural sheets match and is located far from a transfer position than the first tray in use, when sheets housed in a first tray in use for a print job reaches a predetermined residual amount, and feeds sheets until the sheets housed in the first tray until no sheet remains therein so as to feed sheets to enable continuous print jobs even after a tray to be used for the print job is changed over to the second tray. |
