PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses image deviation in image formation when a belt-like body receives transfer of a plurality of toner images sequentially from an image holding body.SOLUTION: In association with contact or separation of a secondary transfer member with or from a belt-like body, deviations in arrival time to a primary transfer position occur in a predetermined transfer area that receives transfer of a toner image on the belt-like body. First deviation correction means is provided for correcting image deviation in image formation caused by the change amount of load among the deviations in arrival time; and second deviation correction means is provided for correcting image deviation in image formation caused by the change amount of a periodic movement trajectory among the deviations in arrival time. |
