PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a position of a tag, regardless of a movement mode of a reader.SOLUTION: A tag position estimation system comprises: a tag ID reader attached to a moving body, and capable of detecting an ID tag placed within a communicable range and reading ID information retained by the detected ID tag; a storage for storing the ID information read by the tag ID reader in association with detection time when the corresponding ID tag is detected; a sensor for sensing a movement speed of the tag ID reader; and a relative position estimation section for estimating a relative position of respective tags on the basis of an interval of the detection time stored in the storage and an output from the sensor.
