PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a practical radiation shielding construction for buildings in radiation-contaminated areas, in particular, in the vicinity of nuclear power plants and nuclear shelters against nuclear wars has not been proposed though the need to construct these buildings and nuclear shelters is discussed, and to solve the urgent problem that a radiation shielding structure having a sufficient storage function is required for an intermediate storage facility or a permanent storage facility in which removed radiation-exposed soil and rubble are stored, in radiation-contaminated areas such as Fukushima prefecture.SOLUTION: A radiation shielding construction and/or a radiation shielding structure are/is provided in which high performance ceramic concrete (hereafter, called "high performance ceramic material") is adapted as outer wall materials or inner wall materials of woody buildings, steel-framed buildings, ferroconcrete buildings, steel-framed ferroconcrete buildings, and/or structures. |
