<p>The invention relates to a knitting needle, used in electronic rectilinear weft knitting machines of low fineness. According to the invention, the needle consists of a rod (1), which shows, at the lower side, a cylindrical part (2) whereon there is located a roller (3) by means of an anti-friction bushing (4), the roller (3) being prevented from moving axially by a safety ring (5), which is located in a channel (6) made on the cylindrical part (2), so that the roller (3), by coming in contact with a cam (7) executing a translation movement, determines the upward displacement of the needle when it comes in contact with the cam ascending part and the downward displacement when it comes in contact with the cam descending part.</p> |
